Liisa Savijarvi
A lifelong skier, Liisa was inducted into Canada's Honour Roll of Skiing in 1997. Success representing Canada was found on the World Cup Circuit with a victory in 1986 and as an Olympic Team Member in 1984. Liisa's technical ability allowed her to transfer her skills between Downhill, Super G and Giant Slalom.
In 1988 a serious injury forced Liisa to retire from competition, but not from skiing and as they say, "the rest is history"... 'Ski Escape' was born.
